We just got done recording and are putting the finishing touches on the “Sleepy EP” due out late May.  Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible by pledging on our Kickstarter!  Summer is almost here and we are booking our West Coast tour, getting ready for a live taping on “Sounds On 29th” on Channel 12, and doing a live session on Colorado Public Radio’s OpenAir 1340AM!  Stay tuned for tour dates!

We’re all finally emerging from our winter slumber and are hard at work preparing material for our next project, the Sleepy EP.  It’s going to contain 5 dreamy songs and is slated for release in May.  Please help us record the EP by visiting our Kickstarter page and get yourself a copy!  We’re also in the process of booking a summer tour of the west coast.  Dates TBA!

Thanks everyone who supported us on our Midwest tour!  Despite van breakdowns, speeding tickets, fatigue, and hot/humid weather, it was quite a success.  We had a wonderful time at the Nebraska Pop Fest and all the other cities we visited.

Now we are taking a short break from shows and working on our Sleepy EP, due out later this fall.

We all had a GREAT time at the UMS, not only did we get to see tons of great bands (Bury My Bones, The Down, Accordion Crimes, Night of Joy, The Pirate Signal, etc etc), we had a great crowd at our Sunday show.  Thanks to everyone that made all this possible!
Also much thanks to Vonveederveld and Nucular Aminals for playing a great show with us at the Meadowlark!  Our tour kickoff is only a week away on 8/5 at the Hi Dive with Houses and Bad Weather California!  It will be sure to rock your pants off.

In other news, recording for the upcoming Sleepy EP is going swimmingly and we expect to have it completed by the time it is done. Nathan, master of reverb and magnets, is manning the 8-track for this one so expect to be surprised!

Also we will be playing the Underground Music Showcase in Denver next week at 9:00 PM on Sun, Jul 24 at the Skylark.

Finally, we are gearing up for our tour of the Midwest in August (and by gearing up, I mean preparing to buy a van!) It is almost fully booked and we will be posting the dates when we want to!

After having returned from our fabulous northwestern stint, performing at the Westword Music Showcase, and doing a Brass Tree Sessions show, we are ecstatic for the summer fun ahead.  Coming up we have the Underground Music Showcase in July and Midwest Tour in the works for August!  Check our shows/tour page for dates and info.  We hope your summer is feeling as magical as ours.
